Auto Immune Disease Wegener's Granulomatosis, are you one of the "lucky" 1 in 50,000 afflicted? - granulomatosis

I'm trying to learn more about this disease. My mother at the age of 73 was diagnosed with it. I studied all the medical care, but I'm honestly interested in answers to the quality of life after diagnosis and treatment.

Wegner is associated with a deficiency of alpha-1-antitrypsin. You can ask for it. I had a friend, the alpha-1-and Wegener's and now in complete remission and with fine Wegener. If you live near Jewish Hospital in Denver, are for this kind of thing very well. Dr. Sandhaus not have much experience.
Take care,

With early diagnosis and treatment, quality of life is good. Recurrence is an acute problem.
